sdms.px.indianoil.in Dealer Login: eDealer Portal, App, Help

sdms.px.indianoil.in is the eDealer entry to IndianOil's ePIC partner platform, used by petrol pump dealers, Indane LPG distributors and their staff. We read the login page's own code, IndianOil's annual report and investor deck, the Play Store listing and the help desk on 5 November 2026 to explain who can log in, how, what to do when a password or the page fails, and which copycat sites and channels are not IndianOil.

sdms.px.indianoil.in dealer is the login address of the eDealer module on IndianOil's ePIC partner platform. Only IndianOil business partners have a Login ID: petrol pump dealers, Indane LPG distributors, kerosene dealers and their delivery staff and mechanics. The real login is sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/, which sends you to IndianOil's single sign-on at access.ex.indianoil.in. Consumers who want a cylinder use the IndianOil ONE app instead. Checked on 5 November 2026.

What is sdms.px.indianoil.in?

It is one address inside ePIC, the "electronic Platform for IndianOil Customers". IndianOil's chairman B. Ashok launched ePIC on 12 May 2017 with Oracle and IBM as technology partners, according to PSU Connect's report of the event. On 29 October 2020 IBM announced that IndianOil's LPG business had gone live on the platform, describing ePIC as "an integrated platform for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Distribution Management System (DMS)" and saying about 12,400 distributors serving around 130 million consumers could now use the IndianOil One app and portal.

The partner side of ePIC is what dealers and distributors mean by "SDMS". IndianOil's own summary on the Government of India's Vikaspedia portal says "Indian Oil For business App & Partner portal has been provided for channel partners to cater to customer & maintain adequate supplies from Indian Oil locations & plan better for any exigencies."

Vikaspedia's ePIC page on November 5, 2026, sourced to Indian Oil, listing the Indian Oil One app and customer portal for customers and the Indian Oil For business app and Partner portal for channel partners

Vikaspedia's ePIC page on November 5, 2026, with "Source: Indian Oil" under it. The consumer side is the IndianOil ONE app and customer portal; the channel-partner side is the IndianOil For Business app and the Partner portal that sdms.px.indianoil.in belongs to.

IndianOil's Integrated Annual Report 2024-25 gives the scale: ePIC "now facilitates daily deliveries of over 30 Lakh Indane LPG cylinders, generates upwards of 1,248 Lakh invoices for lubricants and enables average real-time redemption of over 6 Lakh Per Day loyalty reward point transactions". Every one of those cylinder deliveries is recorded by a distributor or delivery person logged into this system.

IndianOil's Integrated Annual Report 2024-25 on November 5, 2026, describing ePIC as the unified digital backbone that handles over 30 lakh Indane LPG cylinder deliveries a day

The ePIC paragraph in IndianOil's Integrated Annual Report 2024-25, read on November 5, 2026. It also mentions DAC, the Delivery Authentication Code that delivery staff collect from customers through the app.

What does SDMS mean in "SDMS Indian Oil login"?

"SDMS login", "SDMS Indian Oil", "sdms.px.indianoil" and "px.indianoil" are all searches for this same partner system; the login page is the one at sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/. IndianOil does not spell out "SDMS" on any public page we could find. The guide sites that rank for this search expand it as "Sales and Distribution Management System"; IBM's press release uses "Distribution Management System" for the DMS half of ePIC. Treat the full form as a convention, not an official name.

Understanding the address: what it tells you

Open https://sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/ and the server answers with a redirect to https://access.ex.indianoil.in/oam/server/obrareq.cgi?…agentid=SIEBEL_IP24. Two things in that address are standard Oracle names. /oam/server/obrareq.cgi is the login challenge of Oracle Access Manager's WebGate, the plug-in Oracle documents in its OAM agent registration guide. "eDealer" is the name of the dealer portal in Oracle's Siebel CRM, documented in the Siebel eDealer Administration Guide; enu is Siebel's code for the English-language build. The agent name SIEBEL_IP24 reads as a Siebel 2024-series release. So "dealer" in the search phrase is not a job title IndianOil chose; it is the Siebel module's name.

IndianOil's FAQ page on iocl.com links its partner portal as https://px.indianoil.in/webcenter/portal/Partner, an Oracle WebCenter page on the same px ("partner") subdomain. The customer grievance form lives on cx.indianoil.in, and employee systems on ex.indianoil.in, which is why the password form sits at access.ex.indianoil.in.

Who can log in to sdms.px.indianoil.in?

Only people IndianOil has on-boarded as a channel partner or partner staff. IndianOil's Business Partners page lists the partner types: RO KSK dealerships (petrol pumps), door-to-door diesel delivery, LPG distributorships, COCO service providers and polymer dealers.

The network figures are from page 12 of IndianOil's Investor Presentation 2025-26 (PDF), which says "All figures for the year ended March 31, 2026". The staff roles come from the Play Store listing of the IndianOil For Business app, which is built for three users: "Partners", "Delivery Person" and "Mechanic", and says it is meant for an employee, owner or partner of a distributorship already on-boarded to ePIC.

You cannot register yourself. The login page has no sign-up link, and the password reset page carries a commented-out "Don't have an Account? Register Now!" line that never shows. A Login ID is created when IndianOil's field office on-boards the dealership. If you want to become a dealer or distributor, that is a separate process: petrol pump locations are advertised on petrolpumpdealerchayan.in and LPG distributorships on lpgvitarakchayan.in, as IndianOil's distributorship page explains.

If you are a gas customer, this portal has nothing for you. Refill booking, connection transfer and complaints go through the IndianOil ONE app (Android and iOS), the grievance page on cx.indianoil.in, or the toll-free number.

sdms.px.indianoil.in dealer login: step by step

We do not hold a partner account, so these steps cover the login form itself, which we read from the page's own HTML and JavaScript on 5 November 2026. What the dashboard shows after login comes from IndianOil's descriptions, not from our own screen.

  1. Type sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/ in a normal desktop or mobile browser. The address bar should change to access.ex.indianoil.in. That is correct: it is IndianOil's sign-on server, and its certificate is issued to "Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Mumbai".

  2. Enter your Login ID in the "User ID" box. The page checks the format before it sends anything. A partner username must be 5 to 13 characters of letters, digits or underscore. The Business Login option accepts an email address or a 10-digit mobile number. Anything else triggers the alert "For Partner login, Please enter a valid Username. For Business Login, Please enter a valid Email Id or Mobile Number".

  3. Enter your password and press Continue. The form posts to /oam/server/auth_cred_submit on the same server with browser autocomplete switched off, so the browser will not offer to remember the password.

  4. After a successful login you land back on sdms.px.indianoil.in in the eDealer application. The app listing describes the partner view: a snapshot of the key business metrics, placing an indent order in two clicks with live status, PAD balances, order history and sales analytics.

The login page links to four IndianOil addresses, and nothing else: Forgot Password (access.ex.indianoil.in/partnersresetpwd/), Privacy Policy and Terms of Use on px.indianoil.in, and Help Desk (hlpdsk.ex.indianoil.in). If the page you are on links anywhere else, you are not on IndianOil's login.

Forgot your password?

Use the link on the login page or go straight to https://access.ex.indianoil.in/partnersresetpwd/. The page is titled "Reset Password" and asks for one thing, your Login ID, with the same format rules as the login form, then a Continue button. The verification step after that (email or mobile OTP) depends on what IndianOil has on record for your ID, which is why the reset fails for dealerships whose registered mobile number has changed. In that case the ePIC Support Helpdesk or your IndianOil field officer has to update the record first.

The older Spandan portal has its own reset, labelled "Forgot Password(OTP)", which only works for Spandan IDs. See the portal comparison below if you are not sure which one you were given.

Is there an sdms.px.indianoil.in app?

Yes, for Android. It is called IndianOil For Business, published on Google Play by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd under the package name px.indianoil.in, the same subdomain as the portal.

On 5 November 2026 the listing showed 4.3 stars from 30.9K reviews, 10L+ (one million or more) downloads, an update on 3 October 2026 with the note "UI and Optimization Fixes.", and a data safety declaration of "No data shared with third parties" and "No data collected". The requirement line is one sentence: "User ID for the ePIC platform". Your portal Login ID is the app login.

Key features and benefits by role

The listing describes three roles. Partners get the business snapshot, two-click indent orders, PAD balances, order history and sales analytics. A delivery person can download digital cash memos for assigned deliveries, confirm delivery, call or navigate to the customer, collect payment, create a cash memo at the doorstep and keep working offline. A mechanic downloads assigned service tasks, gets priority notification of leakage complaints and closes them from the phone.

There is no iPhone version. A search of Apple's India App Store on 5 November 2026 returned six apps from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil ONE, IndianOil PNG, IndianOil e-Charge, XtraPower, Fuel@Call and myESS) and no IndianOil For Business. Distributors on iPhones use the portal in Safari.

The reviews are where the day-to-day problems show. The most-liked recent review, from 14 August 2026, says the delivery staff "have to uninstall and install every morning", that return bills error out, that "after 11Am the app goes to sleep" until 2 PM, and that collecting DAC then ends in a "gateway timeout". Seventy-seven people marked it helpful. Another from 13 September 2026 says the app crashes after the update. IndianOil's standard reply asks users to email mobility@indianoil.in with contact details and screenshots.

A one-star Google Play review of IndianOil For Business dated 14 August 2026 describing daily reinstalls, the app sleeping from 11 AM to 2 PM and gateway timeouts while collecting DAC, marked helpful by 77 people, with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd's reply pointing to mobility@indianoil.in

Common sdms.px.indianoil.in login issues

What you see

What it means

What to do

"Web Page Blocked! The page cannot be displayed." with an Attack ID

IndianOil's web firewall refused the request before the login page loaded. We got this page, with "Attack ID: 20000051", when we opened the portal from an automated browser on 5 November 2026; a normal Chrome request got the login form.

Use a plain browser with no privacy proxy, VPN or request-rewriting extension. Try another network or your phone's data.

Alert: "For Partner login, Please enter a valid Username…"

The ID is the wrong shape. Partner usernames are 5–13 letters, digits or underscores; Business Login wants an email or 10-digit mobile.

Check for spaces, a country code on the mobile number, or a dot in a username.

Address changes to access.ex.indianoil.in

Normal. That is the single sign-on server.

Carry on. Check the padlock shows Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

"Gateway timeout" or the app "goes to sleep" mid-morning

Server-side load, reported repeatedly in app reviews during the 11 AM to 2 PM window.

Retry later; keep the app updated; report with screenshots to mobility@indianoil.in.

Reset OTP never arrives

The mobile or email on record is old.

Raise it on the ePIC Support Helpdesk or with your field officer.

Your ID works on Spandan but not here

Spandan and ePIC are separate systems with separate IDs.

Use the portal your IndianOil office set you up on.

Spandan's "Channel Partner's Portal" on November 5, 2026. The CAPTCHA and the OTP reset mark it out from the ePIC login, which has neither.

Spandan is the older system, and many dealers still hold IDs for it. Ahrefs lists its two login addresses right behind the eDealer page for this search, which is why so many people land on the wrong form. Rule of thumb: if your office gave you a Login ID "for ePIC" or "for the app", it is the sdms address; if you were told "Spandan", it is the other one.

Where to get help with the IndianOil dealer portal

The Help Desk link on the login page opens hlpdsk.ex.indianoil.in, titled "ePIC Support Helpdesk - Indian Oil". It is a ticketing system with its own sign-in ("Email or Logon Name") and its own forgot-password link, so it needs a helpdesk account, which partner offices receive at on-boarding.

Other channels, all from IndianOil's own pages:

  • App problems: mobility@indianoil.in, the address IndianOil gives in its Play Store replies. The developer contact on the listing is IOCL's Marketing Head Office at Indian Oil Bhavan, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051, phone +91 78276 04846.

  • IndianOil toll-free: 1800-2333-555. Commercial LPG helpline 1860-5991-111. LPG emergency 1906.

  • Data privacy complaints about the px.indianoil.in sites: the Grievance Officer named on the Data Privacy Policy page, Sh. Abhinav Bhatt, Corporate Business Technology Centre, Gurugram, data-grievance[at]indianoil[dot]in, 0124-2861509. The page adds: "Kindly do not call this number for refill booking or other customer-related queries".

  • Your field officer: the sales officer or area office that on-boarded the dealership can fix a wrong mobile number or a locked ID faster than any helpline.

Is sdms.px.indianoil.in safe and legit? Security and best practices

The address is IndianOil's. On 5 November 2026 the TLS certificate served by sdms.px.indianoil.in was an Extended Validation certificate from DigiCert issued to "Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.", Mumbai, Maharashtra, carrying IndianOil's company registration number L23201MH1959GOI011388, valid from 9 January 2026 to 9 February 2027. The sign-on server access.ex.indianoil.in serves a DigiCert certificate for *.ex.indianoil.in in the same company name. IndianOil's Terms of Use name "cx.indianoil.in, px.indianoil.in, ex.indianoil.in, km.indianoil.in" as sites "owned and monitored by IndianOil".

What is not IndianOil is most of what ranks around it. The three "guide" articles in the top ten for this search are on travel, lifestyle and education blogs; none links to an IndianOil page. A YouTube channel called "Indian Oil SDMS" (@indianoilsdms, 5.11k subscribers, 54 videos, joined 28 July 2022) uses the IndianOil logo and posts Hindi walkthroughs for pump staff on employee evaluation, monthly wages, work permits and the POS unit SOP.

Its channel description is copied blog text: it calls the portal a platform "the Indian government has launched", says it "comes under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas", and ends "Through this article, you will also get detailed information about Indian oil login, gas booking, checking updates". IndianOil's real channel is the one linked from iocl.com, "IndianOil Corporation".

The videos may still be useful as one dealer's tips, but they are not IndianOil instructions.

The About dialog of the YouTube channel Indian Oil SDMS on November 5, 2026, whose description says the Indian government has launched an amazing platform and ends with Through this article, you will also get detailed information

The "Indian Oil SDMS" channel description on November 5, 2026. It is blog copy, down to "Through this article", under an IndianOil logo the channel does not own.

The rules that keep a dealership account safe follow from that. Type the Login ID and password only on access.ex.indianoil.in, after being sent there from an indianoil.in address. No IndianOil page asks for a password by email, WhatsApp or a YouTube link. And the same lookalike pattern we documented for teckjb.com and lapzoo.com applies here: a site that copies the name and logo is not the site.

How this was checked

On 5 November 2026, from a home broadband connection in Delhi, we fetched sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/, sdms.px.indianoil.in/, px.indianoil.in/, the password reset page, the Terms of Use and Data Privacy Policy pages, the help desk, Spandan's login and iocl.com's Business Partners, LPG distributorship and FAQ pages, and read the HTML and JavaScript of the login and reset forms (the Login ID rules above are the forms' own validation). We read the TLS certificates of the portal and the sign-on server.

We read the Google Play listing in full, including reviews, and queried Apple's App Store search for Indian Oil Corporation Limited's apps. Opening the portal from an automated Chromium browser returned IndianOil's "Web Page Blocked" firewall page, so the login form could not be screenshotted; the other screenshots are of pages that loaded normally. Facts about ePIC come from IBM's 2020 press release, PSU Connect's 2017 launch report, Vikaspedia, IndianOil's Integrated Annual Report 2024-25 and its Investor Presentation 2025-26. We did not log in, contact IndianOil, or install the app.

Frequently asked questions

What is sdms.px.indianoil.in/edealer_enu/?

The full login address. "edealer" is the Siebel eDealer partner application and "enu" its English-language build. It is the page your ePIC Login ID belongs to; the shorter sdms.px.indianoil.in redirects to the same sign-on.

Can I book a gas cylinder on sdms.px.indianoil.in?

No. It is the dealer and distributor system. Customers book through the IndianOil ONE app, the toll-free number 1800-2333-555, or their distributor.

What does "dealer" mean in sdms.px.indianoil.in dealer?

It comes from "eDealer", the name of the Siebel CRM module at that address, and covers every channel partner: petrol pump dealers, LPG distributors, kerosene dealers and their staff.

How do I get a Login ID?

IndianOil creates it when your dealership or distributorship is on-boarded to ePIC. There is no self-registration on the site.

Is there an iPhone app for the IndianOil dealer portal?

No. IndianOil For Business is Android-only on Google Play. On an iPhone, use the portal in Safari.

Why does the address change to access.ex.indianoil.in?

That is IndianOil's single sign-on server (Oracle Access Manager). Every ePIC login passes through it. The certificate is in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.'s name.

Why do I see "Web Page Blocked" with an Attack ID?

IndianOil's firewall refused your browser's request. Switch off VPNs, proxies and request-modifying extensions, or try another network and a standard browser.

What is Spandan, and is it the same portal?

Spandan (spandan.indianoil.co.in) is IndianOil's older "Channel Partner's Portal" with a CAPTCHA and OTP-based reset. It is a separate system with separate IDs.

Who do I contact when the app keeps timing out?

Email mobility@indianoil.in with screenshots, as IndianOil asks in its Play Store replies, or raise a ticket on the ePIC Support Helpdesk at hlpdsk.ex.indianoil.in.
