An AI review of your draft, before a human reads it

Most platforms make you submit and then wait to find out what was wrong. Writeouts runs the review inside the editor, so the fixes happen while the draft is still yours.

What is AI article review?

AI article review on Writeouts scores a draft out of 100 before submission, checking structure, clarity, technical depth and SEO against what performs in the same category. It runs inside the editor and returns ranked, specific fixes rather than a pass or fail verdict.

01

What does the AI review actually score?

Every review returns a readiness score out of 100, shown against the average and the top of your category. A number on its own is a verdict; a number with a benchmark is a decision about whether to keep working.

02

How is article structure measured?

Word count, heading depth, paragraph balance and image count are checked against the working range for the category you picked. A 600-word piece filed under a category where the top results run 2,000 words is told so, with the gap in words rather than an adjective.

03

How are the suggested fixes prioritised?

Suggestions come back ordered — fix first, then improve, then polish — and each names the specific sentence or section it applies to. The ranking is the useful part: it tells you where to stop when you have twenty minutes rather than two hours.

04

Where does the review run?

The review opens as a panel beside the draft. You apply a change, run it again, and watch the score move. Nothing is copied between tools, so nothing is lost on the way back.

Common questions

How many AI reviews can I run?

Free accounts get a small monthly allowance, with a separate daily ceiling so a single session cannot spend the lot. Both are shown in the review panel before you run one, and each review is a real AI pass over your draft, which is why they are metered rather than unlimited.

Does the AI review replace editorial review?

No. It runs before submission and catches the mechanical problems — length, structure, missing SEO metadata, unclear passages. A working technologist still reads the piece for accuracy and judgement before it publishes.

Is my draft used to train a model?

Your draft is sent to the reviewer to produce your feedback and is not used as training data.
